As of July 27th, Anniston Pediatrics Inc. will begin seeing those patients who have chosen not to receive immunizations. This new law known as, SB267, was signed into act by Governor Kay Ivey on May 23, 2021. The law states, " (D) An entity or individual doing business in this state may not refuse to provide any goods or services, or refuse to allow admission, to a customer based on the customer's immunization status or lack of documentation that the customer has received an immunization." ​We will be accepting all patients regardless of their vaccine status or practice. We will however still ask that the parents/guardians sign a vaccination refusal form for liability purposes as recommended by the Academy of Pediatrics. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused for any of our past or present patients. Anniston Pediatrics will continue to recommend that all patients receive all vaccinations recommended by the Academy of Pediatrics.
